I know-way too long

Oh my goodness, I know it's been way too long since the last time I blogged! Where does the time go! Work seems to be kicking me in the butt lately! I feel like I have bit off more than I can chew this year. Not only do I have the GT kiddos and the inclusions kiddos, but I'm also in charge of the spelling bee! What the heck was I freakin thinking! I don't remember working this hard last year--good grief. But I do have to say that my class is the best in all of my school! My class took benchmarck tests a few weeks ago, and I'm happy to say they did awesome. The best out of the whole school! We took a Mock Taks test in reading and so far 12 have passed-I still have a few that are working on it! Whoohoo! They are kicking major booty! So, I guess I did choose the right profession--even though I sometimes still question what I'm doing!
Other than school, not too much is going on. I've been going to Ruidoso a lot lately! It's just a nice little get away! I have realized from being a teacher that I need a brain break every so often. I have been taking 1/2 days every so often and going up there! I feel like taking these little breaks helps!
The big 33 is just right around the corner! I'm not sure if I'm happy about that or not. December 19th is the big day--yes, it's the day we get out for Christmas vacation! What a great birthday present!
