IT'S OVER

It's over, all over! My first year of teaching is officially over! I honestly can't believe that it's over. I'm not sure it has hit me just yet. Oh I am sure it will though. Saturday I went to school to finish up my classroom, and get checked out. The bad thing was I was feeling awful. Not awful because the school year is over, but awful in the aspect that I was sick. Around 5pm or so I couldn't take the pain anymore, and went to the Dr. I ended up having an upper respiratory infection, a middle ear infection, and sinusitis. 2 shots and 4 prescriptions later I think I might survive. I still feel icky--but I think I'm on the mend. Today I had a meeting and my friend told me to go home because I was looking a bit green. I did feel green at that moment. I felt just gross. I came home and took a nap.
I hoping this summer will bring some much needed relaxation. After this year, I'm thinking I deserve it!! I must say though, I am going to miss my class. I truly did love each and everyone of my kiddos. I did cry on the last day of school. Saying good-bye to my kiddos was rather hard on me. I will never forget them!!
