What a Day!!

I've worked all year long to bring my class average up! I've implemented new strategies to be used in reading and math only to get a new student today that I think will bring my class average back down. This little girl didn't even bring a pencil to school today. Her grades from the first 3 nine weeks were nothing but d's and f's! Hello--she is from a local school here in town. As a matter of fact it's not to far from my school. UGH--don't her parents realize that the stupid taks test is coming up in like 2 1/2 weeks--It's going to take a freakin miracle to help this little girl. I already got after her today because she was picking at her finger nails--I told her she needed to pay attention--she replied--well I got the answer right! I DON'T CARE--PAY ATTENTION!!
To top it off my class was being a pill today!! Apparently everybody was having one of those days!! Oh I can't wait until the last day of school!!
