Well last week at this time I was freaking out because of my upcoming observation!! No need to worry about that anymore, because I kicked ass!! I scored exceeds expectations on 3 of the 5 categories, 1 proficient,and I will find out the last one at the end of the year!! My principal told me that he really enjoyed being in my classroom, and he really enjoyed the everything that I had up on my walls and clock. (When I did my student teaching my teacher had sticky notes going all the way around the clock in 5 minute intervals--Thanks Hillery!) He didn't have one bad thing to say. Oh man am I glad that is over!!!
Like my title mentions one thing down two to go--TAKS is coming up next week. My fourth grade class will be taking the math taks test next Tuesday, and their reading test on Wednesday!! UGH!! Just thinking about that makes my stomach hurt. I know for sure that my class will kick booty on their math test--I'm just worried about their reading test!! All I can do is hope and pray for them.
Just 43 more days (that's including weekend until the last day of school.) I swear it can't be soon enough!! I'm getting kinda tired of a fellow teacher that I'm working with. This teacher just really irritated me today. I think I'm just going to eat lunch by myself tomorrow--I just don't want to have to deal with this teacher!! Is that wrong of me--I don't think so--I just need this year over with all ready!!

Suzy rocks! :-) I can't wait til TAKS is over with!!! Kelsi is all stressed out. She packed her snacks to take for the test 3 days early...lol. Keep your fingers crossed. She's getting better! GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR CLASS!

Suzy - glad to hear you did so well on your observation! Oh, I remember being so nervous about those each year.
Also -- when counting down to the end of school, DON'T count the weekends. It will make it seem so much more managable! Hahahhaa!
