What a fast monday

Today just seemed to fly by!! My kids were on task and ready to learn. It also helped that my trouble maker was absent today. I think it's because their science fair projects were due today. Still, she knew that they were due today, and I kept pushing them back. UGH!! One little girl didn't bring one in. I told her that they were due today, no exceptions! I have given them 2 months to work on them. The mom talked to me after school today and said that it was her fault--that she didn't read the directions on how to due the project until last night. I said sorry, they were due today. It's minus one letter grade. The mom thought I would give her a break--um no!! And her mother wonders why she is doing bad--HELLO!!!
