I honestly can't believe that October is gone. It's been forever since my last blog, almost a month. YIKES!!! Well, work is finally going good. I think I'm starting to get the hang of this thing called teaching. I too Jen have lost some students. You just so attached to them. However, I've also gotten 3 new little kiddos. One boy and two girls. The boy is something else. The cafeteria lady walked into my room and wanted to speak with him and his response was--What's Up! I said excuse me is that how you talk to an adult. The nerve of some kids.
What else has happened--oh I bought a new car last week. My little crap mobile finally had to be put to rest. Things were starting to break on it and it would have cost more to get it fixed than the car was actually worth. I was getting my crap mobile at a Honda dealer ship on the east side when I ran into a car in the showroom that I totally fell in love with. The dealership had just received it that day and I bought it. It's so beautiful. It's a Honda civic fully loaded with a navigational device. Awesome!! I originally wanted those new Nissan altima coupe, but my now car had everything that I wanted and I got a good deal on it. Plus they gave me a lot of money for my trade-in. It was an offer that I just couldn't refuse!!!
Well, my best friend moved back this past month. I'm glad to have her back, I just wish it had been under different circumstances. She seems fine on the outside, but I just know that she is hurting all on the inside.
I'm certainlly going to work on keeping on top of my blog. I'm sure I have more to say--I just can't think of anything else!!

Suzy, I'm glad to hear you're getting the hang of things and that it's getting a little better in your classroom. Yeesh, I remember where you are and I would never, ever want to repeat that first year again, ever. Hang in there, it really does get better.
And congrats on the new car! I need a navigational system, I never know where I'm going!
