What a day!! I did nothing all day long!! I watched tv and took little cat naps all day long. Around 8 or so this evening I thought I would start my homework before I go get Armando from work. In a matter of an hour and a half I graded a stack of papers and completed my lesson plans for next week. YEAH!! Now tomorrow I don't have to worry about getting all of that done. I can spend hopefully a quiet sunday with Armando. Quiet because we have been having disagreements here of late. I think it's stress related to work and PMS. Don't you just love PMS!!
Anyway the second week of school was a little better than the 1st week that's for darn sure. I'm starting to find my groove!! One teacher said it never gets better and she's been teaching for over 20 years--WHAT A GRUMP!!!

Don't you just hate teachers like that!! I remember my first year being told all kinds of negative things and remember thinking, I hope I'm not like that in 20 years!

Thank Jen!! I just kinda took what she said with a grain of salt. Old haag she is!! I would hate to have my kid in her negative world of a class!!
I remember having to make a decision at one point not to listen to the old worn out teachers who were disillusioned and tired of their jobs. They can be so negative. Keep your idealism as long as you can Suzy, IF you still can!
