I'm doing this for a reason
I was talking to another teacher the other day about my problem child and what steps I have taken to help her this year.(i.e. I have tried to find books that she likes to read, I know that she likes to draw, and I know she is good in math) Over the past two weeks she has really made a complete 180--I asked her if she likes being in fourth grade this year--her reply was an astounding YES!! Okay so with that in mind today the teacher that I have been talking to about her said to me that the reason I am teaching is because God wanted me to be her teacher, and God knows that I have the heart for her. I'm thinking that she is right. Even the assistant principal can see a difference in her. So, I guess this teaching thing isn't so bad.

Suzy!! That post just gave me goose bumps!! YOu are absolutely right!! This little girl, along with all your students, were placed in your class for a reason! They are so lucky to have you as their teacher!!
I am so glad you are having a better week! See I told you teaching isn't so bad!!
